Red Bull Rail Yard, Kühtai, March 31st to April 2nd, 2022

) The first edition of Red Bull Rail Yard is coming up in a few weeks. The international snowboarding jib-community gathers from March 31st to April 2nd in Kühtai outside of Innsbruck to celebrate the season end. Red Bull Rail Yard is a session from riders for riders. It’s all about creativity, innovation, and most of all the fun of spring riding together. The riders’ playground is the specially built "Railgarden” with countless rails and features – truly a joy for the pro riders and amateurs to discover. The end of season event offers a total prize-money of € 15.000 on top.

THE RIDERS – The Austrian Olympian Clemens Millauer is the mastermind behind the Red Bull Rail Yard idea and was heavily involved in the conception of the riding format and setup. Not riding due to an injury, he will support the riders onsite as the interface between them and the organization crew and judges. The list of confirmed riders is diverse. Slopestyle and Big Air specialists mix with core jibbers. Olympic Champions, rookies, and amateurs: They will all ride the Railgarden in Kühtai. Olympic Gold medallist Anna Gasser is ready to hit the rails, as is Australian Tess Coady, who won the bronze medal in Slopestyle in China. They are meeting rail specialists Rachida Aoulad and Veroniqi Hansen (both NED). The US-Americans Zak Hale and Luke Winkelmann as well as the Canadian Frank Jobin travel all the way to Tyrol for Red Bull Rail Yard. Leon Vockensperger, Benny Urban and Flo Corzelius (all GER) will tear down the Railgarden with them, accompanied by Jesse Augustinus (NED), Nicolas Huber (SUI), Toni Kerkelä (FIN) and Sebi Springeth (ITA). They all look forward discovering the Railgarden, which provides them the perfect playground for the event week. Various rails and features can be flexibly combined and promise creative riding sessions. Clemens Millauer states: “It will be an unusual and never-before-seen Rail Session with the elite of rail riders. I am especially stoked that everyone can join due to the open qualification!”
