Julien "Pica" Herry gets rowdy on the Perron de Vallorcine

Jones ambassadors Julien "Pica" Herry, Laurent Bibollet and Manu Gross took advantage of stable snow and sunny skies in late January 2022 to tag a rowdy line above Le Tour ski resort in Chamonix, France.

Starting the day on the ski lifts, the crew toured out of the resort for a couple hours to reach the base of the imposing face of the Perron de Vallorcine. With their eyes on a line that snaked up the face onto an exposed ramp leading to the summit, they climbed the line and found variable, but mostly soft snow on their way to a magnificent view.

Their descent was the epitome of Chamonix shredding - steep, spicy and spectacular!
