World Cup Corvatsch 2022 in Silvaplana

In a month, freestylers will drop into the Slopestyle course at the Snowboard Worldcup Corvatsch in Silvaplana. Preparations are in full swing. From 24 to 27 March 2022, the 9th edition of the Freeski World Cup is taking place, while the snowboarders have Silvaplana on the calendar since 2021. Top riders from all over the world celebrate the World Cup Season Final 2022 in Corvatsch Park. Next to a total of CHF 100.000 in prize money and the event titles, also the large and small crystal globe are awarded.

All eyes are on Corvatsch Park, as the Slopestyle course is the playground for the Snowboard and Freeski athletes. From Thursday (24.03.) to Sunday (27.03.) riders will showcase their tricks high above Silvaplana in the Engadin, also the host of the Freestyle World Championships in 2025. Nicolas Huber and Bianca Gisler, Olympian snowboarders, also join their home-event in the Engadin. Bianca is challenged by the strong Japanese riders like last year’s winner Reira Iwabuchi and the 17-year-old 2022 Big Air Olympic medalist Kokomo Murase.

Those interested in watching the action live onsite, find everything they need to know online. The new trailer inspires to travel to Silvaplana. Access to the Slopestyle course is possible with a regular day ticket or with a World Cup pedestrian ticket (23 CHF per day). Fans can experience the finals on Saturday and Sunday directly next to the course. A specifically created spectator area offers the best view to follow the riding action, also catering is provided. The prize- giving ceremonies take place immediately after the title decisions at the mountain middle station Murtél. Party people join the Riders Party on Saturday (26.03.) at “Hossa Bar”, directly on the descent down to Surlej. Entry is free.
