Vans Snow Partners With Team Rider Benny Urban on a Skate-Inspired Hi Standard Pro

As the leader in creative exploration, Vans Snow is excited to introduce a skate-inspired take on the Hi-Standard Pro with help from team rider, Benny Urban. This season, Vans’ all-round team favorite receives an update through the lens of Benny, as well as two new footwear styles.
As the hero of the collection, the Vans Hi-Standard Pro snowboard boot by Benny Urban is offered in a minimal, marshmallow and burgundy colorway and swaps the iconic Sidestripe for the heritage V logo. The boot is supported by the Skate Sport and Standard Mid Snow MTE for a dual skate and snow collection.

As the Pro-level cousin in the Hi-Standard family, the Hi-Standard Pro has a lot to live up to. The most well-known franchise name in the Vans collection bears the responsibility of delivering on the promises of both performance and style. Benny’s interpretation of that legacy hits hard on both. Featuring our V2 package, including a V2 UltraCush Smartwool liner, a V2 PopCush footbed, and a Waffle Pro outsole, the Hi-Standard Pro continues to capitalize on the intersection of performance and self-discovery.

Born in Germany, he's moved closer to the mountains and is now based in Innsbruck, Austria. Throughout the years, he’s sharpened his craft and developed a unique board control when it comes to riding his snowboard on metal, concrete, wood or anything else that crosses his path. This reinterpretation of urban areas and overall street snowboarding remains a very underground and core approach and Benny's career is one of a kind.
Highly inspired by skateboarding, Benny has been a "Waffle Head" since forever and officially joined the Vans snowboard team in 2015. You've seen him in Vans video projects such as Landline, Together Forever, Evergreen and Oasen just to name a few. In support of his first collection, Vans is working on a two-year video project. Benny brought onboard a strong Vans squad including Jill Perkins, Dom Wagner, Nils Arvidsson, Jake Kuzyk, Sebi Springeth and more for an upcoming edit to be released in Fall 2024.
