Teaser: Absinthe Films "La Zone”
At the end of November, Absinthe will release a documentary entitled LA Zone, which shows the importance of the discovery of the the Col de Cou, a major crossing point on the French-Swiss border used by smugglers after the Second World War. The area quickly became a legendary place for freestyle snowboarding in the early 2000’s. Watch the trailer and get excited for this upcoming release.

Industry Interviews: David “Vlad” Vladyka from Absinthe Films
David Vladyka or Vlad as he is more commonly known as, has been with Absinthe since 2002. He’s shot some of snowboardings most iconic imagery in that time and is still shooting today. We reached out to Vlad to see how he got started, the state of current snowboarding, why snowboard videos are still important and to reflect on some of his best moments.
