Spencer O’Brien Ma̱lx̱tłu’g̱a - Mountain Goat

Spencer O’Brien has built her reputation on the slopestyle circuit and was the first woman to ever land a 900 in a competition. Recently Spencer has turned her attention to the backcountry and at the same time has reconnected with her Haida and Kwakwaka’wakw roots in British Columbia. In this film, O’Brien shows us her journey.

2x World Champion and Olympian, Spencer O'Brien, leaves the bib behind and ventures into the backcountry. Along the way she reconnects to her Haida and Kwakwakaʼwakw roots.
