From the slopestyle circuit as a Burton grom to filming standout backcountry parts, Mikkel always evolved his riding in his own way. Eight years after hanging up his competition bib, Mikkel went on the Natural Selection Tour in 2021 to switch things up and took home the Championship. Mikkel sat down to talk about how he keeps progressing after 20 years, and his hopes that events like the NST will continue Jake’s legacy of showing how snowboarding is for everyone.
