Laax Open 2023 are ready for take-off!

Laax is ready: The Laax Open 2023 will take place from Wednesday 18th to Sunday 22nd January. With Olympic Champions, World Champions, newcomers, crowd favorites, live music.

Leading freestyle destination Laax in Graubünden has been offering freestyle at its best for decades. Every year, their commitment culminates in the Laax Open, bringing world-class riders and enthusiastic fans to the Crap Sogn Gion.

Almost 220 riders will be competing in the run for valuable World Cup points, 165.000 CHF prize money – in equal shares for both women and men – as well as the much- coveted titles. Glorious names are gracing the start list, among them snowboarders Marcus Kleveland (NOR), Mark McMorris (CAN), Anna Gasser (AUT), Zoi Sadowski- Synnott (NZL), Cai Xuetong (CHN), Queralt Castellet (SPA), Jan Scherrer (SUI) and Scotty James (AUS).

The men's preliminary rounds in slopestyle will be kicking things off, and on Thursday the halfpipe riders will get into proper contest action, as one highlight follows the next over the coming weekend: Friday evening Churchhill will be live in concert at the rocksresort, Saturday noon slays slopestyle finals, noble night finals in the halfpipe, two live acts in the valley and finally, the freeski slopestyle decision on Sunday noon! All held in front of the imposing mountain backdrop at the GaLaaxy mountain station.
