Hotzone Park Opening 2021 in Hintertux: September 30th to October 3rd

It's almost time for winter, and as ever, the best way to kick off the season is in Hintertux for the Hotzone.tv Park Opening that takes place from September 30th to October 3rd.

The conditions in Hintertux at the moment are better than they have been for years. The Betterparks shapers have built an incredible park, which has already been extensively ridden by Ethan Morgan, Anna Gasser, Mark Sollors, Craig McMorris, and plenty more international pros that have traveled to Hintertux to start off their season.

For the Hotzone.tv Hintertux Opening the park will be even better, and yet again, the focus will be on the mountain-based events. Zillertal local Werni Stock will host the first Big Air event of the season with his invitational Big Air contest, which will allow some of the most technical snowboarders to showcase their talents as we head into an Olympic season.

Sane! are sadly not allowed to have their Metal Battle event but worry not as the Innsbruck locals will hold a Cash for Tricks session, which is open to all and will be held at the Betterpark Hintertux.

International super dad Marko Grilc will coach attending younger riders on Saturday and Sunday in the increasingly popular "Kids Shred" for the kids. We will be there to cover the Kids Shred with Pleasure Mag's OG- photographer "Fischi" on hand to make your child a star in their own personalized Pleasure Cover photo.

There will be a Pumptrack session, a DJ workshop, drinks, and good times in the carpark. If all this wasn't enough already, your favorite brands will be onsite, offering you the chance you test out brand new snowboard products in the test village.

The Snowcard 2021/22 is again valid from October 1st onwards. People buying day tickets are advised to purchase these in advance online to avoid bust waiting times.

COVID-19: A security protocol is in place, and all Covid-19 measures valid at the event are implemented. Find current Covid-19 information for Tyrol here. Bars and restaurants are open according to official requirements.
