For two decades, snowboard enthusiasts have been flocking to the Tux Valley at the beginning of October to kick off the new winter season. From October 3rd – 6th, 2024, the 20th anniversary of the Hintertux Park Opening will be celebrated – a true milestone that brings back many memories for companions. Riders from all over the world, industry representatives with the latest products to test, and freestyle fans are looking forward to the anniversary edition at Hintertux glacier.

For the 20th time in a row, the Hintertux Park Opening traditionally kicks off the series of park openings. The Opening is for everyone and now brings together generations: kids and parents, pro-riders, and scene icons, they all gladly return year after year. Many shared memories unite them. Here, lifelong friendships were forged, nights were celebrated together, and the park was conquered during the day.

Visitors can expect a setup in 2024 that leaves nothing to be desired. The betterpark crew led by Wille Kaufmann has been responsible for the park since the beginning and delivers a top-class freestyle playground year after year. Besides the action on the mountain with Zillertal local and pro-rider Werni Stock, celebrations will also take place in the valley, including the SANE! Metal Battle Rail contest, which goes into the next round. This and much more awaits old and new Opening fans.

FREESTYLE FUN - Betterpark Hintertux is currently presenting itself at its best. And is still open this weekend (until June 2nd) for freestylers. Then the park goes into summer break. Before storing your winter stuff, a last visit to Betterpark Hintertux is recommended.
