elooa Splitboard Enjoyer Camp presented by Volcom

As the second splitboard camp after the long Corona break, our elooa Splitboard Enjoyer Camp presented by Volcom took place for the first time last weekend for all advanced splitboarders who wanted to experience something very special!

At the foot of the Sonnenkopf, in the middle of the Klostertal, the unique Volcom "Stoney Mountain" House was waiting for us to experience a top-class splitboard powder highlight together with the Volcom team riders, our state-certified guides and the elooa crew. Where necessary, we also provided complete splitboard equipment with our brand new Limited Edition K2 X elooa Marauder Splitboards and BCA Backcountry Access avalanche safety equipment.

It all started on Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. with the meeting point at the Sonnenkopf base station and then directly with the Volcom team riders for a first warm-up day for powder riding in the ski area. Luckily, a snowfall the day before brought 30cm of fresh to the mountains and thus beamed smily faces after every pow run. In the afternoon we went to the accommodation and after a 2G+ check-in, a hearty snack followed. Afterwards, the latest Volcom outerwear collection could be checked out and tried on in the farm, which had been converted into a unique showroom, before a delicious dinner followed.

Saturday brought mixed weather with fields of fog but also enough fresh snow to start the first splitboard tour of the weekend. A beautiful tour in the Montafon with over 1000 meters in altitude up to just under the 2168m high Tschaggunser Mittagsspitze, together with the endlessly long powder descent, was the second highlight of this weekend. Happy and exhausted this time everyone crawled into their beds in the evening.

Sunday blessed us with cloudless skies and bright sunshine. A quick gondola ride up the mountain was followed by a splitboard backcountry adventure around Ameisenspitze. Several runs with deep powder turns through grandiose terrain put a big grin on everyone's face. A delicious cold drink was then enjoyed with a great panorama of the summit before a long descent back into the valley followed.

An enjoyable splitboard weekend came to an end and we are already looking forward to the next elooa Splitboard Camps - hopefully also with you!
