Swiss splitboarder Léa Klaue has often heard "Trust yourself" amidst her mountain journeys. But how do you do that? Where does trust come from? This short film delves into the nuances of self-confidence and its absence. Documenting Léa's ascents and descents of some of the steep north faces in the Valais Alps during the Spring 2023, the film shows the uncertainties of steep riding – a snowboard discipline that demands not only physical and technical skills but also a measure of luck. In the high Alps, where snow and weather conditions are as capricious as one's own self-confidence, the challenge becomes as much about mastering external forces as it is about conquering internal doubts.
