The Best Time of the Year: Spring Action up on Kitzsteinhorn!

March and springtime mark the best time of the year at the Kitzsteinhorn Snowpark near Zell am See-Kaprun, Salzburg County, Austria. The extraordinarily long freestyle season lasts until the beginning of May, after which the park remains open exclusively for the elooa Camp Good Times. And the best thing: there is something for everyone on the Kitzsteinhorn, as Easy Park, Central Park, South Central Park and the legendary Superpipe offer a varied set-up for all skill levels. There are also numerous top-class events to take part in or watch.

Thanks to the expertise and commitment of the local shape crew led by Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn team leader Wolfgang Hilberger, the snow parks on the Kitzsteinhorn are in top condition and currently even being expanded to provide full action for freestylers on skis and snowboards until May. The Easy Park, which aims at beginners and advanced riders, has 16 obstacles, including three easy kickers, a butter box, and a 12-metre down-tank. The Central Park for advanced riders and pros provides ten features, including a 12-metre kicker, a down rail, and a quarter tube. The South Central Park offers nine elements of varying difficulty, from the hip jump to the 12-meter elbow tube. You can ride the set-ups one after the other from South Central Park to Easy Park to Central Park and string together up to 20 obstacles in one run. Once the current renovation work is completed, the range will increase even further. You can find all the current details on the individual parks here.
