Arc’teryx Freeride Academy 2025: Ride, Learn, Connect

Photography by Mark Clinton & Carlos Blanchard

From 6th to 9th February 2025, St. Anton am Arlberg becomes the centre of the freeride universe as the Arc’teryx Freeride Academy returns for its fourth edition. With over 400 clinic spots on offer, it’s the place to sharpen your skills and explore new terrain under expert guidance.

Upgrade Your Skills

The Academy’s clinics cover freeride essentials like avalanche safety, ski touring, splitboarding, and mountain photography. Whether you’re just starting out or pushing your limits, there’s a session designed for you.

Top-tier mountain guides and athletes like Max Kroneck, Johannes Hoffmann, Michelle Parker, Robin van Gyn, and Craig Murray lead the signature clinics. It’s a chance to learn from some of the best in the game.

Freeride Village: More Than a Basecamp

The Freeride Village is where the on-mountain energy flows back into town. It’s a community hub where participants, guides, and locals connect. Need gear? Borrow it for free from the Arc’teryx Gear Library. Interested in sustainability? Check out the ReBIRD™ Hub to learn how gear can be reused and recycled.

Workshops, film screenings, and live music keep the good times rolling after the last run of the day. Expect laid-back conversations with athletes and guides sharing stories from the slopes.

Why St. Anton?

St. Anton is built for freeriders. Its mix of technical descents, hidden powder stashes, and legendary après-ski makes it the ideal setting for the Academy. The town’s freeride culture runs deep, and the energy is infectious.
